Anonymous
Anonymous is a group known by many as activists and freedom fighters. This group allows for information that the government and big corporations try to hide from the public. I believe this group is heroes. They provide information and support to protests and information that are not made public but should be. In the most recent event with Russia and Ukraine, Anonymous stepped up and "declared cyberwar" which exposed Russian government agencies and disabled various websites. If I had the skills they had, I would defiantly utilize them to do my part in allowing everyone to be aware of what's going on. I think once Anonymous does something that harms people actual people and not government and big corporations is when they have crossed the line.

Snowden
Snowden to me is considered a hero. He stepped up for the people before the people even knew what he was doing, He saw what the government was doing was wrong and saw that the process is just evolving to capture more information about people without them knowing. He was responsible for exposing highly classified information that allowed the public to know about the numerous surveillance programs deployed by NSA. Something that people tend to forget about Snowden is that he tried to raise ethical concerns but was shut down every single time. Snowden is 100% a hero to me. If I were in Snowdens position I would do the something as well. It takes a lot of guts to do what he did, but I would defiantly still try to do it. Snowden did not cross any line and unless he starts harming people, he will still be considered a hero.

Manning
Manning is also considered a hero to me. Unlike Snowden, Manning went straight to leaking out the information instead of raising concerns (reportedly). Manning allowed access to documents and videos about airstrikes to the public. I am a strong believer in being transparent. Having information like this hidden allows groups and government officials to continue harming without consequences. If I were Manning, I would have reported my concerns to the supervisors first. If they dismiss the concern, I would then attempt to leak the most important information that will benefit the people.

Assange
Assange was responsible for establishing the WikiLeaks platform. This platform allowed Manning and Snowden to have a platform to share their findings. Assange was also wanted by Sweden for allegations of sexual misconduct. It is very hard to call someone a hero when has allegations like this. I would say that the platform he has created is a hero, but the person himself is still a question mark for me. If I were Assange, I would have created this platform and allowed it to be. Once it is created, I would have left it to be and promote that people use it to disclose information that is being hidden from
the people.
the people.
